Raj (Vikas Vasista) is a famous and intelligent plastic surgeon who marries Mahathi (Priya Vadlamani), a beautiful and innocent village girl who lives with her father and tells tuition. Maya (Ayesha Khan) is his childhood friend, who is an orphan and loves him a lot and is disappointed with the fact he is married now. She writes romantic blogs. One day, Maya gets into a fatal accident due to which Mahathi gives blood to Maya even though she is pregnant which leads to her death.
Out of shock and depression, Raj does plastic surgery and exchanges Maya's face with Mahathi's. He marries Maya and tries to move on. They make Mahathi's family believe that Mahathi is alive by showing Maya to them. Maya who is an orphan and always wanted a family for herself gets easily attached to them.
One day, when Raj goes out of station for work, Maya finds Mahathi's phone and sees her recordings sent to her mom who died long back. While hearing those it gets revealed that Raj has killed Mahathi. Through Raj and her common friend Dr.Satya, who had lust on Mahathi, she finds out that Raj is a rapist who always tried to assault Mahathi. When she tried to fight back, he killed her and made it look like an accident by doing a face transplantation surgery to Maya. Enraged by all this Maya decides to bring justice to Mahathi.
When Raj comes back, she provokes him to assault her and secretly records it. Later, she hits him hard due to which he loses his jawline making him a mute. She files a case in court against him with the help of lawyer Viswamitra (Vishwak Sen). They win the case at last by getting Raj arrested and proving that marital rapes are more in India than other countries.
The film ends with Maya taking Mahathi's place in her family and telling tuitions instead of Mahathi in her village. It is later revealed that Viswamitra is none other than Mahathi's cousin with whom her aunt wanted to get her married in her childhood, but she ends up marrying Raj.
